Good news

I had my follow-up visit with the surgeon this morning and she is really pleased with how my recovery is going.  The next step will be radiation, to start in a couple of weeks, and it will be done at my neighborhood hospital just down the road.  This is a photo of a set of posters on the wall in the waiting room; I wish the lighting were more even.

I did manage to make that meatloaf last night, although had to postpone the clean-up for today.  I think I can manage that.
