Afternoon chill

March is still a winter/winterish month in New England. We've had snow all afternoon adding to the chill I feel in my bones and heart over what is happening in Ukraine. Bombing a Children and Maternity Hospital? I have no words, just a creeping all enveloping fear as the unthinkable plays out in right front of our eyes. Once again, we see the "Never Again"  evil of genocide flashing on our screens. My Cold War teenage fears are re-awakening by the hour.

This day came in gray and damp with snow beginning around noon.

All hands begging for peace.
