Crocus carpet

Today after our doggie walk we needed to run a few errands and whilst we were out we headed to the village of West Ayton on the River Derwent to see the lovely display of crocus that grow alongside its banks, It was a very pleasant walk in the sunshine.

Continuing our walk through the village we passed by a pretty weir and many picturesque cottages.
