Between the jigs and the reels I was left walking Basil without his lead. This is mostly fine but he definitely needs containing back in the village , in particular in case he and Django’s ( bigger scruffy terrier and they try to rip each other’s heads off) paths cross! Basil found an unused bandage lying in the rain , very weird and very useful. He had a fine time unravelling it and giving it a bit of a chew when we got home , after he’d got over the shame of me using it as a lead !!
