Don't Mock Me

While on our walk this drippy morning, the Big White Dog and I spotted a cheeky Northern Mockingbird. She seemed really curious about us and hopped from branch to branch trying to get a better look. She must not have babes in a nest yet since she wasn't being at all aggressive...thankfully! She's our State Bird and represents us well! 
Lots of rain predicted in the next few days (hope the pond doesn't overflow) and then a few cold (for us) nights this weekend. A low of 28F awaiting us early Sunday morn. Potted plants are back in the greenhouse and I'll freeze cloth cover tomorrow.
