In The Blue

Not far from here, close to the river Rhine, there’s a colony of storks. We don’t see them often up here on the hill, though. So I was quite surprised when this one circled over our area, quite high in the blue sky. 

Rani has recovered from yesterday’s shock. But she’s still quite nervous and skittish, and I don’t think she’ll play on the bookshelf again, any time soon.
