Baby rhubarb

A few weeks ago my dad chopped some chunks off the roots of his massive rhubarb plant and I brought them home and stuck them in a pot. We now have baby rhubarb! In fact, all the pieces are growing and we have more plants than are probably appropriate for a small courtyard garden. It may be over a year until we sample it, but I'm delighted to see it growing.
