Chapel in the trees

Enough of picturesque old churches, this is the modernist former chapel at Hopwood Hall College by Sir Frederick Gibberd. It is said to be a mini-dress rehearsal for the Catholic cathedral in Liverpool that he designed but it was built a bit later (1965) so may be an adapted design in a similar form, who knows. It sits above the main college buildings so the central tower is a landmark in the area but from what I can see is now mainly used for storage, ie they don't really know what to do with it.
