First time skiing this winter

I haven't yet been skiing this winter. First my bones had to recover from the accident and about two weeks ago I had a minor surgery in which some metal parts were removed. I didn't dare to go skiing until stitches were removed (which happened yesterday). But then today I went skiing. I skied just about a kilometre on the lake ice. My left hand was still quite useless compared to the right one but at least I was able to actually use it at skiing.
