Great Hall

The Edinburgh Portrait Gallery has the smartest hall I have ever seen. With painted freizes charting key Scots through history, murals, a starry zodiac ceiling and elaborate lighting.
I popped in today to met a friend, make use of their very good cafe, and to see The Annie Lennox exhibition, which is great.
