I belong to a bowling club. It a bit of a long story but I was wanting to get active when I retired and was thinking about golf (which I gave up at 18 because I couldn’t afford the club fees) and was wondering about bowls too. The club you see which I now belong to was holding an open day. I went along and I rather enjoyed it. I’ve made a lot of friends there and today we gathered to do some work on the green, grounds and indoors too in preparation for the new season which brings in mid-April.
