Hepatica
More Spring flowers are appearing in the garden. The daffs are putting on a good show and the hyacinths and pulmonaria are also on the go. Noticed this little hepatica hiding behind a clump of daffodils.
I hadn’t been to visit the park for a few days, so I went along at lunchtime; the work on the boardwalk repairs looks to be finished with and looking good although the barriers are still up around it. Water is going back into the pond now though and it is filling up, much to the relief of the birds I’m sure who had been making do with some shallow muddy pools. The big news would appear to be the departure of the adolescent cygnets. I always wonder where they go. Parents, Napoleon and Josephine, remain - let’s see how they get on this year.
