a lifetime burning

Buzzard

Having poured for most of the day, the rain stopped around 3:30pm and there were occasional brief glimpses of sunshine through the clouds. A group of 4 buzzards were displaying - but sadly this was the closest any of them got.  I've also spotted a pair of ravens nest building nearby which might be promising.

On the way back  I saw the female sparrow hawk (again), and while I did get a couple of shots of her, she's too far away to make any of them worthwhile.
