On the right track

We took ourselves off on a little adventure by train today. Here in the Black Forest we have to pay a tourist tax but that entitles us to free train and bus travel in the area. So we hopped on the local train and headed off in to the mountains to Rotenbach.
We were the only people getting off the train there - so we did wonder if we’d done the right thing. But we followed a marked walk along the river side and though the forest to a high view point. We sat and soaked up the sun, read our books in peace until some other folk arrived and talked far too loudly! That got us moving again back along the path to our train again.
