Chaffinch

There was a peaceful spell in the garden.  A woodpigeon was sitting in the bird bath, looking rather like a broody chicken. One feral pigeon was standing below the sunflower feeders, hoping for some little birds to come and drop bits.  And this chaffinch was sitting quietly on the fence, looking around in an unhurried way.
