Teddy Memorial

On 5 November 2004, a car hit this tree at the lay-by called Bazius along the A17 from Moerdijk to Roosendaal, at daybreak, and three young people died; two girls on the spot, a young man later in the hospital. A teddy bear has been strapped 'permanently' on the tree since then. To this date, no one knows what the three in their late teens were doing there at that time of the morning, although that should not really be all that hard to guess. The teddy is actually quite cute (Forever Friends type); a real pity.

Sunny day, as you can see ... and no lessons for the next three weeks (exam week, re-sit week, May holiday), plus it's Friday ... time to catch up on some sleep! Have a good weekend, folks, and blip on!
