Soakaway

Day at home with a couple of 1-2-1 online meetings and sone prep before an unusual form of meeting. Sometimes being online is a blessing, when you can feel you’re just having a chat with someone and don’t have to think about the others looking in.
Anyway, that done it was time to pack quickly and help A pack the car and we set off for Ardanaiseig for the weekend. We both need a break. Long winding roads, raining most of the way, but after listening to the radio we swapped to singing along with the Hamilton soundtrack (A’s become obsessed with it!). Finally, after a long stretch of several miles down a single track road, we arrived. Can’t wait to see the view in the morning.
Very friendly lady welcomed us…and Paisley!….and we unpacked and before too long A had jumped in the bath. She has missed having a bath since she moved in with me, and so I chose this hotel not least because they had this room with a fabulous roll top bath for her to luxuriate in. Stonking hot water, albeit peat coloured, and lovely full size bottles of Aran Aromatics toiletries, so she was happy.
We both conked out about 10.30. It’s the weekend as Mx would say with glee!
