Goodbye old mate......
.......after a long illness we finaly lost Jim, my brother in law, For nearly 3 long years we could do nothing other than watch him bravely fight a losing battle, he was a brother i never had and a true good friend.
Everyone who knew him liked him, he was one of lifes lovely people and will be missed very much.
The only good thing about the last 3 years is that we got to know some wonderful people at the Macmillan Ward who showed such kindness and dedication way above any call of duty.
These people and Angels in every sense of the word every one of them made you feel that you were the only patient they had and i cant find words to describe them fully but they will forever have our gratitude.
I dont want to depress anyone, but i do want to tell the world about my friend and he wonderul care he had to the end.
When the crying stops i guess ill be fairly busy, thanks for sharing this with me and my wife Eve.
