The silvery bay...

Out early this morning for a walk down the promenade - 5000 steps return. (By 5pm we’d logged in 14,500 steps)

Saw this beautiful early sun rise over the North Sea with views almost down to Flamborough Head (you have to know where it is!).  These two vessels were waiting to enter Tees Bay.  On the left is general cargo ship BBC Elisabeth from Ningbo in China (Antigua Barbuda flag) carrying general cargo and the bulk carrier on the right is Federal Spey (Marshall Islands flag) arrived from Utrecht, Netherlands.
