Old Leaves

These leaves are stuck to the top of a stone wall in front of the house.  Paper thin, translucent and wrinkled, they reminded me of how really elderly people's skin becomes.  My gramma's skin had that look and she died at 98.  I won't be able to see this later today as more snow is coming, 1-3 inches of the blasted stuff.  Hopefully, it won't last long on the ground with warming temperatures on the way next week.
