Time for a brew

Called in today but unusally it was shut, Media crews etc have been swarming around this week due to being announced they have been awarded Best Tea Room unsure if thats North West or UK.
Love the lavender scones they sound weird but taste great and too many typrs of tes to mention I just tell the girl I like my tea basic PG Tips style and usually end up with a breakfast tea type. Its all lace and china cups but very nice and the food is inches on your hips by the mouthfull.
They have a classic van they use normally parked up outside cant remember what type it is and if your lucky at the weekend a guy has a massive scammel truck in the garage off to the side and he might be tinkering with it getting it ready for their next show outing.

Nice couple of mile plus loop across the Trent & Mersey canal tow path down through the field (bridle path) left turn to Dutton Locks, Horse bridge and the arches then back along the river access road to the swing bridge Leigh Arms (pub)to walk off some of the cakes
