Blakemere

It's been a beautiful sunny day today so i went to Ellesmere and walked along the canal.  This is a view of Blakemere as I walked past.
On my way back I met a lady who knew me.  I ony realised who she was when she told me her name - the mother of children that I'd taught about 20 years ago.  I remembered the children as they were all high achievers so it was good to know that they're getting on well.

I saw the first dandelion and violet flowers in bloom today, a real sign of spring.
