Weary

I think this fellow has been riding this fence for about ten years now and he's starting to look a bit uncomfortable.  I believe at one time his folks had horses in the pasture behind him but I don't see them now.  He's not given up on his job of announcing their love of horses though and I commend  him for that.   He enjoys a certain status as a landmark which I think he well deserves.  

I drove by him today on my way to get a long overdue haircut. The neck brace that I wore made such a thing impossible but now that I'm liberated I've enjoyed several long showers and now a haircut.  I'm a new woman!
