A great nephew, pensive

Today we attended an event of the greater extended family (those who turned up that is), to celebrate the 11th birthday of my niece's youngest son. The photo is of one of his older brothers. We would have hosted it at our place if it had been raining but it held off so we had it in one of the very charming local parks with enough wild sections to keep it interesting. The rain came down just as everyone was ready to call it a day.
