Unsafe load

Another eBay purchase, but we didn’t check the measurement and it was HUGE.  We knew it wouldn’t fit in the back of the car so OH suggested taking the bike rack and roping it on?  Slightly fraught few minutes, as the rope wasn’t long enough and it was very precarious.  However we made it to B&Q to buy more rope and lashed it down securely which avoided (a) driving at five miles and hour all the way or worse (b) bed flying off along the A13……!!

The bed went together well and looks really premium and the other mismatched pieces we now have left over  were advertised ‘free’ on FB Marketplace to be collected tomorrow.  Hope they are going to a good home and they have a van or something - bike rack was good but we did get away it it, could have turned out a lot worse!

Home by 6.00 to unload the car and sleep through something on TV.  Almost done and will get our lives back again and I know No.2 will be settled properly for the foreseeable future, hugely grateful for our support and help ( he does tell me often)
