What Is On The Box?

The weather today was blustery and cool. Today is Saturday and Saturday is the weekend.

On a pleasant Saturday I would be gardening. Not today.

This morning I spent some time uploading the soundtrack for tomorrow’s service on to the church website.  The minister records his service; a kind of rehearsal for Sunday.

I listen to it and as usual it is flawless with no extraneous noises. I then go through the process of loading the file using YouTube Studio. That takes about 30 minutes or so as the file is checked for a variety of errors including potential copyright infringements.

The publication date and time is set to coincide with the time of the live service. After the completion of the service I will then publish links to Facebook and to the church website. 

Today’s entry title refers to the TV.  Taken just a minute after the rugby match between Scotland and England. Pat and I enjoyed the game, and the result was satisfactory.

The game was much more free flowing than earlier efforts in the Six Nations campaign.

The black box is an Apple TV, which also plugs into the Television and provides a veritable cornucopia of services.

The television is the third Sony we have owned in forty years. This one is about 10 years old and is the ideal size for the room we watch TV in.

Apple tablets provide other video sources throughout our home to suit our needs.
