... maybe I could have chosen something more interesting to blip! 

On the other hand, I do quite enjoy being pushed out of my comfort zone (flowers, birds, the natural world) sometimes and forced to find blips in less obvious places. Like this car park that we cross on our daily walk, which has the distinction of being the favourite venue of choice for probably every single local driving instructor owing to the space it affords for their pupils to practise reversing! The bollards are protecting a path across the car park which leads to the back gate of a junior school. A necessary addition, given the inexperienced drivers who are on manoeuvres on either side of the path ...
