Cocktail #20 of 50: Gin Fizz

This used to be my poolside drink of choice on med holidays in days of yore. A good school night tipple:
2 measures gin
1 measure lemon
Dash of sugar syrup
Top up in a long glass with soda

Bitterly cold and icy rain showers today so maybe spring hasn’t sprung after all. We met friends for lunch at Ickworth and wandered round the Italianate gardens.
