Pedagogy.

It’s always struck me as unnecessary to include a word relating to teaching and learning in the name of one of Maputo’s principal universities (Universidade Pedagógica). You would hope the concepts are sort of implied in the existence of a university, but maybe it adds esteem.

I had an enjoyable post-work walk around streets unfamiliar, starting at the trusty cathedral close to home, and eventually discovering the location of Universidade Pedagógica. Then I managed to prepare fresh food for dinner, a concept that had become very unfamiliar before I switched jobs. Hurrah to balanced days and better habits.
