After the risky 'pre'-Covid gathering two years ago for her 89th and the mostly-Zoom gathering a year ago for her 90th, today 13 of us got together in London for mum's 91st birthday. We took advantage of the gorgeous sunny day to walk to the pond (extra) that she walked most of us to when we were children - and which two of the clan have had to be fished out of in their time.

Then a meal out, and back to hers for birthday cake - which had the distinction of having spent three hours in a Science Museum locker on the journey to its destination.
