Tip top Sunday

We had lovely long chats with Boston based Katie last night which was smashing. She suggested our next meet up should be in the Caribbean which tbh feels a little out of reach. Up for tea, chats and crumpets this morning. Left our v cheap and not a house we would want to live in but fine for our needs house, dropped our cases at our new Sheraton pad and set forth for wandering, shopping and lunch. What a tremendous outing, Hannah and I were both very excited by our new hair bands, then we went to the dome as pictured. What a stunning place, we had spicy margaritas. Then to our lunch at Dishoom- the tastiest curry in forever.

We dragged our full bellies back to the Sheraton where we had to say goodbye to Alison and transfer into work mode for two days of conference stuff. Tomorrow I am part of a panel thing, I think perhaps I’m not quite fully prepared. I shall wear my Headband of Power, that’ll do the trick.
