Zechia Swamp at Sunset
From Cedarville Park to the Wicomico River, this 21-mile long braided stream is considered one of the most important ecological areas on the East Coast because it filters contaminants that would otherwise pollute the Chesapeake Bay.
It flows through our woods, and our natural spring-fed stream helps to feed it.
This picture is from the side of Leonardtown Road, by the bridge over the Zechia.
