Happiness

Our U16 girls won their Cup QF match 35 - 10 against Connemara/Corinthians today scoring 5 tries. They weren't too happy about the heavy, wet pitch before the game but came up smiling in the end.

On our second pitch our senior women's team won their Plate SF 31 - 14 against Ballina.
Girls rugby was started in the club 9 years ago with a group of minis (U10 years). Since then we have developed U12, U14, U16, U18 teams and, this year, a senior women's team.

In the extra is the first girl to have progressed from that group of minis to the senior women's team. Proudly carried by the 3 coaches that started it all.
