Travel!

And he's off! I can post this now that Bb has already posted his shots. Here he is, about to get into the taxi and off not round the barrio like in the last two years, but to the airport and off to Philadelphia via New York! He's doing work for IESE Business School there and this trip was confirmed a bit last minute. 

It took longer to pack than usual as he's out of practice and even the non-list maker had a list. Fingers crossed!

It felt a bit emotional this morning when he left and the house was very quiet all day. His flight had a 4 hour delay though and so we whatsapped back and forth and then I followed his flight on Flightradar when he took off. I can't believe this routine used to be as much a part of our lives as brushing our teeth. 

I worked on the course all day, trying to keep ahead with things, like allocating material for the classes for the first block of teaching and then the skeletal plans - known as the (dreaded) TP notes - to those in my world. Assessed teaching starts on Monday. Fingers crossed.  I walled to Tres Villas at night and had a hamburger and there got the 'landed' text from Bb.
