Beeston Castle

Started early for our drive up to Lancashire for our holiday. Stopped at a new place for us - Beeston Castle, making use of the English Heritage membership we have this year. Good place to walk around and a fascinating reconstructed Bronze Age roundhouse. We have a lovely large historic room at Thurnham Hall to stay in. After settling in we walked around the grounds.
