Room D46

David Graham leads the student team that is creating the sound files for our LornaL podcast project. Today he photographed one of the students' workspaces for our project Blipfoto journal. David says:

This is the D36 workspace. It is an Edinburgh Napier University School of Computing workspace often used for practical tutorials, as well as for general study.

The Audio 'Ingestion' Team operated out of here for most of the recording period when Bethany was in Edinburgh last month. This was a convenient place to do so thanks to the hideaway (left hand side). Here the team could work communally without disturbing any others in the room. (Not that it was always possible...) Having access to the university Macs and our own equipment made the process of copying, proofing, and ordering Bethany's material much more straightforward, especially by the end of the process when the team was handling around 400 files!
