Old and new

The juniper is one of only two plants we still have in the garden at Feorlean that came with us nearly 30 years ago from our garden in Lanarkshire.

The rock face on which it grows has been completely covered over the years by lichen, grass, heather and brambles. 

"One day," I used to say, "I will clear it."   And now I have started.....
