Tulip

Late posting my blip today, we were out this afternoon at a neighbours funeral.  We have known her since we moved into this house more than fifty years ago.  A lovely lady, who had led a much more colourful life than I had realised, until listening to her daughter's eulogy.  She was in her late 90's when she died. I am so glad we were there to hear all of the stories about her, and to join other's in remembering her with affection.

Before we set out the sun was shining through the window right onto the tulips from Friday.  The pink ones had opened up, so today's choice of blip was easy.
