Farmstead Libeek

We pass it very often on our rides. And today we cycled again. The third day in a row.

Hoeve Libeek is a very large farmstead. Although the oldest building is only from the sixteenth century, around 1300 A.D., a castle stood here, surrounded by a moat. I found this on the internet, I couldn't have imagined it myself. I think it's a beautiful building. It is large in contrast to other farms in South Limburg. Maybe it's even the largest.
