Good specimen

Shows cones, catkins and (not too well) female flowers.
Got some washing out before going to pick up a friend to go for a walk, part of a virtual challenge she's doing.
We had to adapt our route a bit as not all the fallen trees are cleared, but we did find some variations. Went past this alder tree and went to see the birds on the loch.
Then she treated me to lunch, very nice.
Finished sewing up my cardigan in the afternoon and wound some more balls of wool on my latest toy, so ready for the next project.
In the evening did the trail run with the club rather than my usual group, a bit further and faster on familiar ground. It's good to be stretched sometimes.
