Golden Daffodils

A beautiful early spring day.   Still a chilly wind here in the west but the sun is warmer every day and I was down to shirtsleeves while digging at the allotment this morning.   It will take a few more mornings work but progress is being made ... and onion sets were planted today.   

Delicious, home-made celeriac and mushroom soup for lunch after my labours and an afternoon of assorted jobs.  Admin for J & R plus achimenes orders made up and posted.   A lovely walk up the lane at Rhydyronen with Meg who also enjoyed a ball chasing run in the ball field there.   Walking back to the car the sunlight through the trees was lighting up the daffodils wonderfully.   This shot from last year shows the view that caught my eye before I ventured down into the station yard for a closer look.
