Purple Crocuses

What a glorious colour are these crocuses! Seen in a container at Ellis Park, Glenfield, where we took William to play after school.

Morrisons, which has been our favoured destination for taking William out for tea since last year, has let us down very badly. Hot food no longer served after 5 pm, then 5.30 pm, then a promise of cooking for us reneged on by Duty Manager. Nothing at the café entrance to say what the times were. Our favourite waitress was missing. I had the distinct impression that the kitchen assistant could not be bothered, and so forth.

So on this occasion, Morrisons did not make it. We ended up at the drive thru for Burger King.
