Drying up!

One for the documentary record. It wasn't much more than a week ago when the moor was running with water, yet it's been drying out  remarkably quickly. Ten days with very little rain and the paths are now almost perfect for running - in that soft and grippy state between being too wet and too hard. That said, the water table must still be very high. There remain places which are as boggy as ever, if not wetter than they have been all winter. I find it all very fascinating!
