Tee Pee
These lovely pots with Spring flowers in caught my eye yesterday when we parked here briefly on our way through the village. ( There are four more on the other side of the window)
But it was the house number with the name Tee Pee around it that made me take this snap when I passed today heading up to Pilates.
Tee Pee stands for Tom Parry who sadly died some years ago. He lived down our road and invited us to his 90th birthday where you were offered a sherry or a dram. Soon after he moved into this cottage which was more manageable for him.
He was quite a character in the village in his later years but had been a post master in the dales before moving here. He wrote an article in each of the village news letters describing the wild life and nature he saw on his local walks and always signed himself off Tee Pee. There is a street in the village named after him called Parry Close. It was so nice to see this reminder and think of him again.
They managed to get a shot of Jude this morning while she was still a bit bleary which the passport website accepted.
Eda had the idea of how to pose appropriately but she still wanted to use the one of her in a hat! Then they found out they don’t need one for her till next year!
