Behind the Scenes.

Today is all about preparing the cradled boards - ready for painting!

I have spent the past few months working on a rather small scale, and so now i'm going bigger!   Exciting but a bit daunting also.   I have 4 that are 14" x 14", 2 that are 2' x 3', and 2 that are 3' x 3'.   The biggest i've painted so far is 2' x 2'!  

First i have to tape all the sides with painter's tape, keeps them clean....then 2 coats of gesso!!!   Hope i have enough left!

This also means i really do have to deal with the main studio space....clean it up, organize it etc., and hopefully with warmer temps i'll get over there this week and get the wood stove on and do some new stuff!!!
