Magnolia heart

Our magnolia tree is on the verge of breaking out in flowers, and two buds fell out of the tree somehow. I gathered one and folded it open, I just love their hearts with those tentacle like bits and the pink-edged parts on the bottom. For Tiny Tuesday with thanks to JDO for hosting this month.

DJ is feeling a bit better, no fever and the self test today also came back negative so I guess we’re still in the clear.
