Poppy’s impression of a seal!

It’s been many weeks since Poppy walked down the slipway into the White Cart …… the river had been very high, the current too strong and I certainly wasn’t keen on having to rescue her.

Things were better today so after I I clipped her lead Poppy walked straight down and into the water which was just a little deeper that she was used to. She shakes herself while she is in the water and then out she comes and waits for her lead to be attached once more. I keep her on the lead when we are walking by the river just in case!
