Sahara Sand in the Atmosphere …

… and held in the clouds till it rains, makes for dull, sepia coloured days. The warm, and very strong, foehn winds we have been experiencing for the last few days are now transporting sand from the Sahara and this is covering everything with a fine layer of dust. It is not good for the snow in the winter as it causes much faster snow melt, therefore glaciers are not being « fed » either. Apparently when the foehn blows, according to studies, there is  «increased symptoms of depression, anxiety, headaches, traffic incidents and suicide incidence »!! I’m staying in!
