Garden ornament

When cable cars and chair lifts are upgraded around here, the old units are sold off to local people and businesses. Found this ‘new’ arrival to a nearby garden on our dog walk today. It’s from the Grands Montets ski area in Chamonix. It ain’t pretty! An orange tint to our day today as there’s Saharan sand blowing through. A very different weather system has arrived, finally displacing our beautiful blue skies and sunshine.
