Victory
Took the children to West Wittering today, on a long-standing promise, and with a complete disregard for the weather forecast.
It was beautiful and sunny with dramatic blue skies filled with rolling white and steely grey clouds. It was however windy, with a freeeezing, 100 mph gale which brought tears to the eyes. We are hardy though, and had our picnic, a long walk along the beach, and some hot chocolate.
After a couple of hours it really was enough though, so we got back in the car and drive to the dockyard at Portsmouth. Had a few hours there, lots of fun and interesting stuff, and then got fish and chips and ate them on the beach at Bracklesham Bay. It was so cold, Al's lips went blue! I always want a can of pop when I eat fish and chips outside. It must be something from my childhood. I always think I would like to drink some cherryade or something. Cresta - 'It's Frothy, Man'.
